Haskell's

This commissioned painting portrays this family and their love of the Southern California beaches, Santa Barbara, and specifically Haskell's Beach. The soft light of the afternoon gives a peaceful feeling with using muted jewel tones of aquamarine blues, garnet reds and emerald greens. The layers of paint have been built up and scraped away to reveal the stories within the painting. Textured patterns and delicate glazes enhance the depth of this artwork.
